Motherboards & CPUs

The first step in tips on assembling a computer is placing the motherboard on top of the box so that there is no damage to the pins. After that, remove the CPU from the Box and insert it into the Processor Socket on the Motherboard.

Be careful when putting the processor into the socket, don’t make mistakes that can cause broken or bent pins. Gently place the processor into the socket in the right position, then attach the socket lock.

Install Cooler

Usually, to build a new computer, you will use the stock cooler that comes with the processor and is equipped with thermal paste. So, for those of you who use stock coolers from the after market, aka buying outside, you must use additional thermal paste.

After applying thermal paste to the Cooler, place the cooler above the processor in the correct position after that, lock the Cooler and don’t forget to plug in the Cooler power pin on the motherboard that says CPU FAN.
